Det er ofte i slike fellesskap at mennesker v\u00e5ger \u00e5 s\u00f8ke hjelp.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since AA was founded in 1935, priests, deacons and other members of religious communities worldwide have collaborated with AA to help men and women achieve a good life and a lasting solution to their alcohol problem. We in AA are very grateful for this.<\/p>\n\t<h2>About us<\/h2>\n<p>Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.<\/p>\n<p>The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. We are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not affiliated with any sect, religious denomination, political agency, organisation or institution. AA will not engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any cause.
